The Lao lanxang divided into 3 kingdoms era:

7 : Phaboromrasa ''EL GAN" the son of Chao Khantiyavong in 1713
8; Thao Khamsing, the son in law of Phaboromrasa " EL GAN" in 1778
9; Chao Koukeo, the son of Phaboromrasa " EL gan"
10;  Phaboromrasa Phomma, the son of Chao Koukeo ( He had moved the town to the right side of Mekong river and had named as " MUANG MAROUKHANAKHONE or  MAROUKHANAKHONE CITY.

The Laolanxang loses independence to the Siam era  ( the Muang Maroukhanakhone had changed the name to Muang Nakhonphanom)

11: Thao Soodta , the borther in law of Phaboromrasa Phomma became a king and had changed the MuangMarukhanakhone to Muang Nakhonphanom,but the central town was still located at Nongchan village
12: Chao Ounmuang, the son of Phabouromrasa Koukeo became a king and had moved the capital to Phokham village which is located in Nakhonphanom nowadays.
