新华网昆明１０月１３日电（记者徐晓蕾　李怀岩）首批中国游客日前从云南省西双版纳傣族自治州著名 旅游 景点勐泐大佛寺启程，乘坐旅游班车踏上开往老挝琅勃拉邦的异域风情体验之旅，标志着“昆明－西双版纳－老挝琅勃拉邦”的 跨境 旅游专线正式开通。     西双版纳州副州长陈启忠说，西双版纳将全面加快发展边境贸易和跨境旅游，并打造辐射大湄公河次区域范围的 精品 旅游线路，逐步形成全方位、开放型的旅游网络格局。     为此，西双版纳州与云南省旅游产业集团有限公司合作，首先推出“昆明－西双版纳－老挝琅勃拉邦”跨境旅游专线，并采取“一票游”的新经营模式，即该线路的旅游车将实行班次化 管理 ，旅客自主安排游览线路上的旅游景点和选择停留时间。同时，“一票游”还将简化出境旅游手续，为广大游客提供优质、便捷的旅游服务。     据介绍，云南旅游产业集团有限公司已在西双版纳 投资 设立了全资子公司——西双版纳跨境旅游汽车公司，开发湄公河次区域东南亚各国的跨国、跨境旅游业务。为将西双版纳建成连通中国内地旅游和东南亚出入境游的枢纽，大湄公河国际旅游集散中心正在筹划建设中。     琅勃拉邦是一座有千年历史的文化名城，曾是 老挝 国王王宫所在地，是老挝最著名的旅游胜地之一。 （来源：新华网）

老挝北部发现了禽流感疫情 Authorities in Laos detected a fresh outbreak of bird flu in the north of the country last week and slaughtered all poultry affected, a government spokesman says. The government did not say how many birds were infected with the deadly virus, which was detected in a village about 150km north of the ancient royal capital Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage site. "We have killed all of the poultry within a kilometre radius - about 7,000 of them," and a quarantine zone has been set up on the area's perimeter, foreign ministry spokesman Yong Chanthalangsy told AFP. No human infections were suspected, he said. Two people have died of bird flu in communist-ruled Laos since 2003, when the virus resurfaced in Southeast Asia, according to World Health Organisation (WHO) statistics.
