Boat racing festival
when I was a boy , i loved to go on the Mekong river bank to watch at the boat racing which starts from the bank of Ban HouyNangli,Thakhek to Ban HouysaKham opposite with WatKang Temple. me and other friends or some time with brothers went to the river bank and watching the racing there. The boat usually comes from different villages and districts around the province and some years the boat from the other provinces such as Bolikhamxay and savanakhet had participated.
