we normally find them on the tree where our house is or we look for it in the forest. we also eat the red ants which the taste is sour and it is suitable for people who like that kind of taste.
November or December is the best time to eat the eggs because this time the eggs become bigger as you can see in the picture. We usually cook as Lao style salad or put in the fish soup, the taste is really great if you have a chance to go to Laos, Buy from the local Market and try to cook yourself or order it in the restaurant the ant egg soup with fish. don't miss it.
